The Data Processing department, consisting of two employees, is responsible for communication between four remote City buildings and the Unisys LX5200 Main Frame Computer. The Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Utility Billing , Payroll , Privilege License, Code Enforcement, Asset Inventory, Vehicle Maintenance and Gas and Oil Reports are all maintained by the Data Processing department. There are over 450 programs written and updated on the main frame that generate reports. These reports are then distributed to the appropriate departments or individuals. The Web page was developed by Data Processing. The department also hosts over 25 internet connections on a secure network.
